The Process Logo Color Combinations These past 2 weeks I have been making my own logo. We got to learn how actual graphic designers do their job. So first I started out with thinking about what shape,font,and color I wanted my logo to be and I was also thinking of symbols that represented me. After that I just start sketching anything that I could think of. Then after sketching for 2-3 days I narrowed it down to 3 that I liked and I showed it to Mr.Olsen and we decided on one. Then I go on Adobe Illustrator and I start making different designs and versions of that one design. After that I picked one version that I liked and started doing different color combinations. The Overview  For this project we learned about type faces and the anatomy of type faces. We used a video to learn how todo this project. We made a diagram by using our name and the anatomy we learned from the pictures and video on google classroom. We also learned how to use different tools on adobe illustrator.  What I Learned   learned that there are many parts of a letter and a type face. We learned what anatomy of a typeface is in our name. We learned all of these terms so we can use them in the future. We also learned how to make different size arrows and lines and different styles of lines. Conclusion I learned a lot of terms and he anatomy of a type face. This project went really well. This will probably help me in the future. It also was good because it was an easy project and helped me learn some new tools in adobe illustrator too.

                                  Analogous This logo uses the analogous colors of yellow, yellow green and green and I think the company probably chose those colors because it kind of looks like a plant and usually green makes you think of nature.  The sprite logo uses the analogous colors of yellow, yellow green and green. I think this company chose those colors because green is the color of limes and green also goes good wit yellow which is the color of lemons. Color Wheel These past few days we have been making a color wheel to get to know how to use adobe illustrator better. So this was a very simple and easy project that let us know how to use certain tools and this is like our first step to do even bigger projects. Overall I did pretty well and it was a very simple and easy project to do. First we made the big circle then put 2 triangles in the middle and one of the triangles is upside down and dotted. Then we made smaller circles for the primary colors and squares for the secondary colors and small triangles for the triaph colors. Then we typed what each color was then we were done and all I had to do was save it.  What I Learned   I learned a lot on what to do in adobe illustrator while doing this small project. For e9 our first project we got put in groups of four. We each had to choose our own symbols. Mine was a music note because music is a big part of my life but then later we decided to change it to an alto clef since I used to play the viola and I also sing alto. The other symbols were point shoes/ballet shoes, wings and a potato. All of our symbols changed a lot though. Especial one of the girls in my group. First it was a cat then a star then black lipstick then she finally chose a potato. So that made it hard to figure out an idea that all of our symbols can make one big picture. After we finished our sketches we went outside and drew our big picture. Our big picture was a potato with wings wearing ballet shoes with an alto clef on it. First we drew our own symbol then if someone needed some help like for example the potato was the biggest thing in the picture so we asked some people if they had the same color and we helped her finish coloring in the potato.
