Trailer

Pre-Production

For this project we got assigned groups to recreate a movie trailer. My group chose Napoleon Dynamite because it was short, easy and, funny. After we decided on our movie we had to story board and fill out the beat sheet. The hardest part was casting because it was hard to find a time everyone is free or just people who wanted to be in it and fitted the character.

Production

We filmed for about a week and a half and getting the school shots was easy and we got those done with fast during school. It was hard to schedule the out of school shots but we got it done.

Post Production

New things I learned with premier was editing the speed of a video to have shots slowed down and I also used a filter to make it seem more cinematic. I also used audio effects to try and fix the sound from the wind. That would be one thing I would do differently is to do more research on how to get rid of the wind sound better and fixing the slow motion walking part. I would keep the casting the same and how we kept the continuity.

House Project

The Project So for this project we used sketchup and we had to make a model of a house we found on houseplans.com. This let us learn sketchup more and how to use different techiques in sketchup. The Process First we had to find a house then we had to look at the measurements of the house. I first just made a big block then I shaped it to look like my house. Then once I just got the shape of my house I added a porch and stairs. Then I started adding windows, doors and stuff like that. Then finally I looked back at my house and just tried to compared them and I added extra details that I forgot to do. Then after that I made an animation of giving a tour of my house.  I used this texture for my porch I used this texture for my house. What I Learned I learned how to use sketchup and different tools and techniques within sketchup. Like the push and pull tool to make a shape different heights. Then I learned how to use the orbital tool to move the camera an...

How To Print Out A Doc. At ONW

width="560"> Pre-Production Our creative process was to name all the steps first on how to create a document and print it out then we looked at all the shots and put them on our story board to see which type of shot would make sense for each scene. Then we each used the iPad to just take pictures of each shot. Then we decided that I would be the actor for the video and Jaidyn would be the director and film.  Filming Like I said before my role was just the actor and I learned that you have to act like the camera isn't there and not pay attention to other things around you. I also helped like place the iPad in the right places and i learned how to make your shots level and use the 3 thirds rule. Editing I also edited the video. I learned how to use premiere pro and how to put the videos together and make sure they make sense so the audience doesn't get confused or it does not look weird. I also learned how to add words onto the video and how to ad...

Point A To Point B

The Process For this project the goal was to film someone traveling to location A to location B while adding obstacles in their way. So the way our group brain stormed was we first decided the mood of the video and we decided on scary. Then we went location scouting to decide where our locations should be and we decided we wanted to end up in the auditorium and we wanted to make it ironic and we started by the auditorium doors. Then we tried to work on a story and first we had some trouble but then we decided that the main characters friend disappears and the main character is trying to find her friend and she is getting these strange notes that give her clues to where she is. After we brainstormed we started filming and the first day didn't work out well because I think everyone was not on the same page but then the second day of filming we all got on the same page and we got to filming and we got everything done except for the last few scenes that we did the 3rd day bu...
