The Process
First I chose a project and I chose the Pop Art project. I cropped it and made two copies. One is color and one is black and white. I printed them out on the same sheet of paper. Then I cut both of my graphics out. Then I took a piece of water color paper and tore it in half. Then I used water color paint and brushes to paint my water color paper. I decided I wanted one warm colors and the other cold colors. I used blue and purple for my cool colors and I just was making different streaks horizontally with the two colors. I did the same with the other one just with yellow, orange, and yellow. Then I let them dry overnight. After that I took my prints that I printed out earlier and I covered both of my prints with mod podge on the front side. Then I placed it upside down on the water color paper trying to get it centered as close as I can. Then once I did that to both I used a squeegee and I just slid it on the paper to get out the access mod lodge without trying to get it on the water color paper. Then I let it dry overnight. After that I took some water and covered the whole back side of the prints with water and rubbed the paper off to reveal my transfer print. You want it to be as smooth as it can be without any white pieces. Then once you have done that to both you are done!
Reflection
Overall this project was pretty simple and easy. The part I struggled with was just making the water color look good. One of them I messed up really bad by adding black and the other turned out ok. Also the process was just very long and took days. I do like how my warm colors one turned out and I might try to do it again in the future.
