About The Challenge My class was given a challenge to use a photo of a man and to use masks and blending modes to change for example his hair, clothes, background etc. One of the rules was that we had to keep his face seen. We were given different pictures to use or we could use ones that we found online but we are supposed to keep him nature oriented. Hence the title "Nature Man." The Process To be honest I had no I dealt what I wanted to do and I did not really have any inspiration at first. I just used the photos given and messed around with making masks and just seeing what I could come up with. Then I decided I was doing too much and that maybe I should try to keep it more simple. So I only changed the jacket with like ocean rocks then I wanted to make his hair cool but it never really worked out so I just skipped it. About The Project It is the start of sophomore year. I am taking video and design. My first design project was doing a bunch of photoshop tutorials to get to know the program better before we actually start our own independent projects. So what we had to do was follow along with videos teaching us how to edit photos using certain tools.  The Process For the first tutorial we learned how to take out items we do not want in the backround or just do not want in the picture period. To take out items in the background I used the content fill aware tool. Then I also used that same tool to take out a logo on a surfboard.  For the second tutorial I learned how to use the patch tool to take out a logo off of a shirt that I did not like in the picture.  In the 3rd tutorial I learned how to use the clone stamp and healing brush to take off the tags a girl had on her jacket and use the healing brush and cloning stamp to make it still look normal.   About The Project  For the last quarter of E-9 we had a shark tank project. A shark tank project is when we get put in groups of 4-5 and we had to be basically apart of a made up business. For our business we needed a name for our company, a product, a logo for our product and company, a coupon, ads, a commercial, and a 3D model of our product. Then after we have done all of that and put it all into our website we had to present it to about half of the freshman E-Comm program. All of this took us about 2 months to do all of this.  Our product was called the LI. It stands for Language Interpreter. It can translate any language for you with an earpiece that tells you what to say and glasses that can read off what someone says or even writing. Graphic Design-Mission Bowl I really like this graphic and how she made it more modern and make it attract more teens and kids. The color choices were were good but to me blue kind of looks weird with red and green. I like how she made the bowling pin and balls apart of the design to show that this is a bowling ally. She used the carp design very well the spacing looks good and consistency is good and she aligned everything really well.  Web Design-Green Tech This website has all the right content and serves it’s purposes and all the links work. I thought it was weird that there was like 2 menus one was actually called menu and the other was just the 3 lines symbol. The design is good for its purpose and they chose the right colors but it looks a little outdated. Overview For this project we got a poem and we had to redesign it a specific way. And we also had to use CARP to help us redesign it to look better. We used Dreamweaver for this project. We worked with color and, text size and style, spacing and putting in links. The difference with the before and after is I added some color and I changed the font and I spaced and aligned things better and I used basically all the CARP principals. The new style information goes in the coding. Contrast With contrast I changed the size font and style with the heading and the actual poem to add some contrast. I also added contrast with the different colors I used. There is also contrast with using bold for some parts and italicized the first line of the poem. About My Personality Type My personality type is an ESTJ. This means that I am extraverted,Sensing,Thinking and Judging. Extravert means that I like being around people and i get more energy when I am around people. I do think this is true. Sensing means I make decisions based on logic and evidence not how I think this should happen. I think this is also true. Thinking means that I use logic for my thinking and I do not really think about feelings. Judging means that I would rather have a plan and know whats going on rather than just winging it. Some famous people that are the same type are Hilary Clinton and Michelle Obama. Some reporters and lots of actors and actresses like Emma Watson. The Process For this project the goal was to film someone traveling to location A to location B while adding obstacles in their way. So the way our group brain stormed was we first decided the mood of the video and we decided on scary. Then we went location scouting to decide where our locations should be and we decided we wanted to end up in the auditorium and we wanted to make it ironic and we started by the auditorium doors. Then we tried to work on a story and first we had some trouble but then we decided that the main characters friend disappears and the main character is trying to find her friend and she is getting these strange notes that give her clues to where she is. After we brainstormed we started filming and the first day didn't work out well because I think everyone was not on the same page but then the second day of filming we all got on the same page and we got to filming and we got everything done except for the last few scenes that we did the 3rd day bu...
